I first met Poncho I think it was on the Freshman football team. He would talk to me during the game as we both warmed the bench. He could see that I was very nervous in the game and tried to distract me by being funny. He was a good friend through high school even tho we ran in different crowds. Seems like he and Benji Gallegos were always together.
