    Roscoe Stack contacted me this morning (Nov 21)to let me know that our classmate Darril Helquist has passed away. The Standard Examiner reports that "Darril Wayne Helquist died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 18, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Mt. Lewis 4th Ward"

    Roscoe and I (Bob) both remember Darril had a good sense of humor and was always trying to do or say something to make us laugh. This is very sad to hear.

    Gwen Holmgren Thomas - I remember Darril because our last names started with the same letter and many times we were sitting close to each other. Thanks for letting us know of his passing. I am also very sad to hear it.

    Bob Holmes - That is right Gwen, I remember all of us from the H section. We filled almost 3 pages in the yearbook.
