Mike, I remember you from high school, reconnected on face book a few years back and this world is a sadder place without you. You were born with an artists heart to see the world in a different way. Poetry maybe your best means of expression. I am going to miss you.
ReplyDeleteI was saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Mike was a great guy. We worked together for Asplundh Tree Expert back in the late 70's. We inspected and treated wooden power poles for UP&L. We worked in Idaho and So. Utah. We hiked many miles per day over some of the most beautiful country on earth. Mike was a supervisor and he hired me while we were enjoying a cold beverage in the B&B. That was the most fun job I ever had. Thank you Mike. May you rest in peace. My condolences to your family. Dude Ross

Kim Lester I don't often share my thoughts here but since I read the news of Mike's passing he's been on my mind. There was a time when he and I were close. He had a stoic integrity that has always been a buoy in my life. Peace my friend.

It has brought us much peace and comfort to know that he had such a wonderful circle of close friends. In accordance with Mike's wishes, he will be cremated.
